Finally, the success from last year is back, Kvarterets Bakluckeloppis! On 2 April, the southern car park will once again be a meeting point for shoppers, when Kvarterets Bakluckeloppis has its season premiere. The activity is organised by Kvarteret Giraffen in collaboration with IFK Kalmar for the benefit of the club's activities for girls aged 6 and up.
- As the natural meeting place we are, we see it as natural to make room for a good cause. With Kvarterets Bakluckeloppis, we want to do our bit to ensure that children and young people in Kalmar have meaningful leisure time. In addition, it feels good to support a sustainable initiative that ensures that toys, clothes and gadgets can be appreciated by someone else instead of being thrown away," says Maria Sampson, centre manager at Kvarteret Giraffen.
The neighbourhood tailgate sale will take place on the first Sunday of each month between April and September, and is open to anyone who wants to clear out their garages, attics and basements. The proceeds from the space rental will go directly to the association.
