A brand new men's concept establishes itself in Kvarteret Giraffen, just in time for Kvarteret's 5th anniversary!
The Giraffen neighbourhood is pleased to announce that it is now fully leased. On 23 October, the men's fashion store Wagner will open its 13th store in Sweden. This coincides with the start of the neighbourhood's anniversary week and the opening of the well-known lifestyle chain Rituals at the popular shopping location.
The neighbourhood will celebrate for several days with fun activities, giveaways, snacks, bubbles and entertainment, including the popular Duran and Mollan performing two wonderful family shows and of course you will get to meet the neighbourhood's popular mascot Affe Giraff.
The Wagner chain, founded in 1946, is today part of the recognised PWT Group, which is behind more than 140 successful menswear stores throughout the Nordic region. PWT Group also owns the well-known brands Lindbergh, Bison, Junk de Luxe and Jack's Sportswear Intl. giving Wagner access to an extensive and strong product range.
– "This establishment is a fantastic opportunity for us to reach out to men's fashion enthusiasts in a completely new way, and we have long seen a great demand for more men's fashion in the Quarter," says Martina Adolfsson Nyström, Centre Manager of the Giraffe Quarter. "We also know that our visitors find it extra exciting that it is a completely new player for our city," Martina concludes.
- "Our combination of modern men's fashion at competitive prices in our inspiring store environments makes us a strong player in the market," says Filip Nilsson at Wagner. "The fact that we also have a committed customer club makes Wagner a very attractive fashion chain for men of all ages. When we looked at Kalmar as a market, Kvarteret Giraffen was an obvious choice and we look forward to the opening, concludes Filip Nilsson at Wagner.
- "It's obviously great to be able to announce the good news that we are now fully let, and the fact that this happens to coincide with the Giraffe neighbourhood celebrating its fifth anniversary is really festive," concludes Martina Adolfsson Nyström.
